THE RUSSELL - "The sale to benefit
the C.M. Russell Museum" - March 15 - 17, 2012
I have a new piece which will be offered for sale in the Russell Museum Show in 2012.
The name of this piece is "Spring Run Off" and was a scene I captured on one of my many trips through the Avon Cut-off
area of Montana on my way to Helena and/or Great Falls, MT. The scenery in this area is totally breathtaking and I was
lucky to get a great shot and have a moment to appreciate this large cattle ranching valley on my way through. You can see the image
on my New Works page.

JACC (Jacklin Arts & Culture Center) at 405 N William St, Post Falls, ID 83854 on January 20. 2012.

"ART OF FUN
SERIES" LECTURE - "Anatomy of Art" 5/14/11
This fun lecture was held in the 7,000 square feet historic Coeur d'Alene hardware Company store
originally built in 1890. Price Tag Antiques is currently located in the building. There was a featured Silver Room
Tea sponsored by the Historic Wallace Preservation Society (non-profit organization, 501-c-3), Historic Wallace Marketing
Group. The Silver Room Tea is also available at any time and features a menu on line at their website (pricetagantiques.com). Reservations
are recommended.
The lecture was held May 14th and the subject was "Anatomy of Art".
It was a great opportunity to discuss and present
the meaning of Art, the story of a painting, originality, marketing, personal approach to a painting with research and technical
aspects prepared. I enjoyed the group discussions and interest from those who attended.
Many thanks to Paul and Marje Robinson of Osburn, Idaho for organizing
this lecture and two ladies to be commended for their efforts and hard work - Shauna Hillman with the Historic Wallace
Marketing Group and owner of "indelible Tidbits" in Wallace, Idaho, and Anita Price, owner of Price Tag Antiques at
618 Bank Street, Wallace, Idaho 83873 . Be sure to stop in and say hi and enjoy the huge selection of priceless antiques, tea
offerings, and just plain good hospitality!
