May 9, 2007, I was accepted in to the Archives of Women Artists - Library & Research Center at
the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C.
They are currently using materials of artists in the archives to create a comprehensive online database of
women artists scheduled to launch in the upcoming months.
The archives on Women Artists currently houses more than 18,000 artists' files, used regularly by students,
scholars, museum patrons, and staff for research purposes.
I am very honored to be a part of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
COEUR D'ALENE ART ASSOCIATION
I juried the
recent Coeur d'Alene Art Association "Spring Artist's Showcase" art show. There were many fine pieces
offered for the show and I enjoyed talking to many of the artists.
NORTH
IDAHO FAIR & RODEO
I am a juror of the Art Division entries
for the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo in August of every year. I always look forward to being a part of Kootenai County's
activities and seeing the works of new artists in all age groups. It's truly amazing the talent that you see, especially
in younger kids.
ARTS & CULTURAL CENTER AT THE OLD CHURCH
I was offered a one-woman showing at The Arts & Cultural Center at The Old Church in Post Falls, Idaho.
The Center opened up an "Upstairs Gallery" and announced their Grand Opening at my showing. The title of the
Show was "Artistic Visions". The show ran from September 13th through October 15th, 2007. Many thanks
to all who worked on the show and to the many visitors of the "Upstairs Gallery". This is a wonderful facility
and is very contributive to promoting the arts in the community.
